A down-at-heel showman is rapidly running out of acts for his travelling circus when a stranger arrives in town. When the lion tamer has an unfortunate accident, the newcomer is 'volunteered' for the job with catastrophic and hilarious results.

The Lion Tamer, inspired by the comic genius of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, has been specially designed to tour village halls and small-scale theatres.
